Aprender experimentando, reto del futuro! - Learning by doing, future challengue!

And then I realized adventure was the best way to learn

It has been over a year since my last post and a lot has happened since then.

Being parents has changed our lives and live in a foreign country too. I don’t like to say "expatriates" because it sounds like we're here by necessity, because we had no other option and that's not true, at least, not in our case. The crisis helped us in some way to make the jump, but we already had this idea in our minds for a long time ago.

To be our own decision doesn't mean it's a smooth process. There are many challenges that we have faced and we face every day. The simplest task can become an adventure. There are not only cultural but also linguistic differences. Don't speak the country's language is, for me, one of the biggest barrier to determinate a positive experience or no.

Immersed in this double adventure, knitting has become mission impossible, not only due to of the lack of time but also a new enriching challenge that has appeared and I face it with great enthusiasm: Adrian education. Not! It's not true that from 0 to 3 years Adrián has been not receiving an education, I mean now is when he starts to demand knowledge. - Mom, what is this? -; - Mom, what it is called? -; Look mom, you see what I do !! - It is a beautiful period not only for him but also for me because I can remember my childhood and live it a second time.

I agree with experts who say that the best learning takes place through experiences, ie "learning by doing". And I am sure that this kind of education is what I want for Adrian. Through these experiences may stimulate his curiosity and imagination and develop his creativity, one of the great challenges of education of the twenty-first century.

So, with the help of Adrián, I will start a new creative project in which creativity, education, Nature and experimentation have a strong presence. Do you want to join us?
