Ayer las tejedoras de Sevilla nos volvimos a
reunir en lo que fue el II Urban Knitting de Sevilla.En esta ocasión tocaba adornar las columnas que rodean al monumento en
Plaza Nueva. El motivo de la convocatoria fue San Valentín aunque más que
motivo fue una excusa porque la inspiración de las participantes fue más allá y
pudimos ver creaciones de todo tipo, algunas realmente espectaculares!
Mucha gente se acercó a preguntar y nos dio la
enhorabuena por una iniciativa así; dando color a la ciudad y haciendo pasar
una mañana diferente a los más pequeños, que se entretenía tocando y tirando de
los hilos.
Para mi ha sido una experiencia muy gratificante!!
Pude encontrarme con conocidas del grupo de no&das, conocer en persona a
Lorena (Isadora) y Laura (Mildred Mola) que son las organizadoras de la
quedada, a Alicia (Teje-maneje) y a un grupo muy familiar de madres, hijas y
tías que son todas unas artistas!!!

Yesterday knitters from Seville got together
again in the II Urban Knitting from Seville. This time we had to decorate the columns that border the monument in
Plaza Nueva. The reason for the call was Valentine's Day but I will dare to say
that it was an excuse because the inspirations of the participants went beyond
and we could see creations of all kinds, some really spectacular!!
Many people came up to ask and they gave us the
congratulations for this iniciative; giving color to the city and offering a
different day to the children who entertained playing and pulling the strings.
For me it has been a very rewarding experience! I
could meet friends of no&das group, meet in person Lorena (Isadora) and
Laura (Mildred Mola) who are the organizers of the call, Alicia (Teje-maneje)
and a very family group made up by mothers, daughters and aunts who are all
artists!
